Who are LIVEDRIVE
an online cloud backup and sync storage service owned by Global. The company provides users with unlimited backup space and 2,000 GB or more of sync storage. Livedrive enables users to access their data from mobile phones and tablets. Currently Livedrive has apps for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Chrome OS.
What is the benifits of using Livedrive
As a reseller, we have spent a lot of time investigating GDPR, Security and Copyright laws. Most companies will offer backup solutions that allow the user to backup, them hit you with an increase charge for more storage space. As a reseller, we have the option to do this, BUT WE DON'T. we pay to join the resellers scheme, but can resell the product is which ever way we choose. this allows us to give customers UNLIMITED storage space. 2nd reason we use Livedrive, is that this compny is based solely in the UK, with 4 data centres, but because they are UK based, this negates the worry of copyright laws. (E.G) using a USA based backup, like Google or Apple the backed up meterial under copyright, becomes US property, under their copyright laws. We have 1 client who stores 7TB of data for £57.20 per annum.
How does Live drive work
Livedrive have developed their own software to backup from either PC, Laptop, Smartphone using either Android, MAC, Windows. The software work on a basis, that it compare the previous backup and sees what has changed or what is new. then backups up these files. This is called an incrimental backup ("Files that have been changed since last backup") Live drive guarentee that at minimum, 31 days worth of incrimental backups are safe for recovery, but in our experience this can stretch well beyond 200+ days.
